Since the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, Saudi Arabia made some outrageous offers, and it seems Saudi clubs will dominate this transfer window.

Al Nassr budges to salary demands of Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammate

After landing Cristiano Ronaldo, Al Nassr is looking to make massive strides this summer. With Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo leaving the club, Al-Alami is looking to strengthen the midfield. They tried to lure many big midfielders from Europe but haven’t been able to sign any. The club’s primary target was Chelsea superstar N’Golo Kante.

However, the reports state Kante has accepted to join their rivals and current champions Al Ittihad. As a result, the club started looking for other targets and offered Portugal international William Carvalho a $5.5 million salary. Reports suggest the Real Betis midfielder accepted the offer at first but then demanded around $11 million in wages.

It stunned the Saudi club. But as per new reports, Al Nassr has accepted the salary demands of Carvalho. A Twitter handle close to the club has reported it, and we will soon see the partnership that helped Portugal on many occasions brewing at Al Nassr. It seems it won’t be the only signing for the club. Al Nassr will keep developing the squad after missing out on the league title and other domestic cups this season.

Who will join Cristiano Ronaldo?

The Riyadh-based club’s representatives are in London in their attempt to lure another Chelsea star. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports Al Nassr is close to sealing an agreement with Chelsea and Morocco superstar Hakim Ziyech. It will be a fascinating signing, and fans will love the prospect of seeing Ziyech and Ronaldo’s partnership.

With the PIF takeover, Saudi Arabia is aiming to start a Riyadh (Al Nassr and Al Hilal) and Jeddah (Al Ittihad and Al Ahli) rivalry. The current champions, Ittihad, have already landed Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante. Other clubs are also working on signings, and we could see some massive names joining Rosh Saudi League in the coming weeks.
