Given the off-field influence of the Al Nassr talisman, the $31 billion apparel brand gave him a lifetime deal, the only athlete after Michael Jordan and LeBron James to get one from the same brand. And now the brand has struck a sponsorship deal with Al Nassr, sending fans into a state of ecstasy.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s impact overwhelms fans

Al Nassr shocked the world by landing Cristiano Ronaldo in January. The record-breaking deal saw the five-time Ballon d’Or winner become the highest-paid athlete. Meanwhile, they didn’t stop there. Al Nassr is making significant progress in signing some big names from Europe. Amid all these, the Roshn Saudi League club landed another massive sponsorship deal after the PIF takeover.

The club released an official statement announcing $31 billion worth Nike as the new official kit sponsor for the 2023-24 season. It will be activated starting from Al Nassr’s Japan tour at the end of July. The apparel brand also has a billion-dollar lifetime deal with Ronaldo. Since the announcement, fans have taken to social media to hail the impact of the Portuguese.

One fan wrote, “Cristiano Ronaldo influence is actually massive.” It was the belief of several fans who think the deal is happening thanks to the GOAT.

One fan welcomed Nike as a new sponsor and feels it’s a start of a new journey for Al Nassr to reach new heights in soccer. Another fan thinks it’s an immense deal for the club and Saudi Pro League as a whole reiterating the influence of Ronaldo.

Furthermore, the Saudi Arabian club is looking to enhance their stature both on and off the pitch next season as they aim to reinforce their squad.

Al Nassr wants to link up big names with Cristiano Ronaldo next season

Al-Alami last won the Roshn Saudi League in the 2018-19 season. They missed out on the title, despite leading the table this season. Their rivals and champions, Al Ittihad, made two massive signings to strengthen the squad for a title defense. They brought in Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante. Al Hilal also made significant signings and is working on more.

In response, Al Nassr reportedly closed Marcelo Brozovic signing with Inter. The club is still in the market for other stars from Europe. One thing is clear, Al-Alami has high ambitions and wants to win silverware next season. They will also look to Ronaldo as inspiration.
