European club soccer resumed after the World Cup break. However, Manchester United and its star forward were subject to the news after the manager dropped him from the starting eleven for a disciplinary issue.

Manchester United is eyeing a top-four finish

United beat Wolves last night with a solitary goal from Marcus Rashford taking them to the fourth spot on the table. They are two points behind the third-placed Newcastle United with a game in hand and four points behind city rivals Manchester City, who dropped points to Everton at home.

Rashford has hit a goal-scoring form with an entire unit playing as a team under Ten Hag. United is alive in all competitions and has some difficult fixtures this month with the Manchester derby at home followed by a visit to Arsenal. 

After the World Cup break, all top clubs will play a good number of matches in all competitions, and Ten Hag will hope for a complete squad coming good. United manager will want his players to be disciplined as a top-four finish is their ultimate aim for this season.
