Al Nassr Boss puts an end to Talisca’s transfer speculation

Anderson Talisca had pledged his allegiance to Al Nassr with a new contract with the club until 2026 and had no intention of leaving the Saudi Arabian side this season. Although he was still linked with a move to his former Turkish club, Besiktas, who was consistently interested in re-signing him to the team.

In this case, Luis Castro dispelled any rumors of a transfer and confirmed that the Brazilian player would remain with Al Alami. The coach was quoted in an interview, “Talisca continues with Al Nassr and will not leave.”

On the contrary, the head coach took ownership of the club’s transfer decisions and asserted that Talisca was always part of his plans. Castro remarked, “I do not know where the news of Talisca’s departure comes from, I am the one who decides and I want him to continue with me in.”

The former Guangzhou F.C. forward joined Al Alami in 2021 and quickly established himself as a prolific goalscorer, scoring 40 goals in just 52 appearances. The previous season’s top scorer further cemented his importance to the team with his powerful chemistry with Cristiano Ronaldo on the field. Meanwhile, Al Nassr secured their second win in the Saudi Pro League with CR7 scoring an emphatic brace in their latest game.

Cristiano Ronaldo leads Al Nassr to victory over rivals

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice from the penalty spot to help Al Nassr to a 4-0 victory over Al Shabab in the Saudi Pro League on Tuesday. ‘Mr. Champions League’ had already scored five goals in the league, demonstrating his goal-scoring prowess even at the twilight of his career.

Although Ronaldo had a chance to score a hat-trick in the 17th minute with a header, it was disallowed for a soft foul on the opposition defender during a corner kick. Teammates Sadio Mane and Sultan Al-Ghannam score the other two goals to seal Al Alami’s dominance over their rivals.
