She identifies herself as a mother, a daughter, a friend, a woman, and, indeed, a sister. She emphasizes that she represents a voice for those who can relate to her journey, asserting, “I’m not just Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister. There’s a mature Katia, isn’t there? A mother of three who does have the right to do new things.”

18 years ago, Katia launched her career as a singer, adopting the stage name “Ronalda” as a tribute to her brother. Music has always been her lifelong passion. Around six years ago, she moved to Brazil and settled in Gramado, where she once owned a restaurant and now proudly identifies as an entrepreneur.

Ronaldo’s family nurtures a strong bond from their upbringing in poverty in Portugal. On August 27th, Katia Aveiro’s daughter celebrated her fourth birthday, marking the occasion with her baptism in Funchal, Madeira. Several family members attended the event, but Cristiano Ronaldo’s absence was notable. Fortunately, Ronaldo made amends with an emotional message to his sister.
