The Barcelona star had left fans scratching their heads after announcing his return to soccer as a manager. While speculation swirled among fans about where Pique might end up, it appears the player had his own ideas. The Spanish soccer player updated fans on his decision on X stating, “OK, I told you I would be back… My next chapter: I’m joining #SorareRivals as a General Manager! Challenge me head-to-head for your first match, and get rewarded for your passion. Download the @Sorare app and play for free.”

It was a tactical move from the Spaniard, who has been associated with the company for the last three years. Pique joined Sorare as their strategic advisor in 2020 and, since then, has worked for the fantasy company as their brand icon.

Apart from his partnership with Sorare, Pique has also been working hard on promoting the Kings League. With the league receiving positive reviews from fans all over the world, the ex-Barcelona star hopes to expand the league to Mexico and other parts of the globe in the upcoming years.
