Ryan Reynolds’ side is four points clear of their archrivals Notts County after they rallied for a 2-1 win against Bromley. On the other hand, Notts gifted their rivals a healthy lead in the league after losing points against Barnet.

For now, Wrexham is preparing for their next league fixture, as the tug-of-war for clinching the title continues. And it seems the Wrexham owner has a message for their upcoming rival team.

Ryan Reynolds fáiltes rivals fans

After an emphatic win last week, Phil Parkinson’s side will lock horns against York City. The away side is sitting in 18th place and will be looking to disrupt their title march. Nevertheless, it seems the owner has a few words to quote before the clash.

“In case it goes unsaid, I have a ton of respect for the YCFC fans traveling to Wrexham this weekend,” said Reynolds. The actor also welcomed the away supporters with open arms. Moreover, the Deadpool star was quite ecstatic about the fixture.

“So I’m happy to welcome them all to the Racecourse. Should be a great match [on] Saturday.” The actor gave comments on Jorvik Radio’s Ryan Brookes, as he had huge respect for the Minstermen fans who are traveling from a long way.

While Wrexham is preparing for York, their rivals Notts are also set to play against Scunthorpe, who are sitting in 22nd place. Both fixtures might be a piece of cake for either side; however, they are surely a threat to their respective sides.

Wrexham acquires major signing

While the preparations for the next league fixture are in full swing, the Red Dragons got themselves a new player. Yesterday, the club acquired striker Billy Waters from Barrow for an undisclosed fee.

The player plays for League Two outfit, Barrow, as the Dragons have surprisingly acquired him until the 2024–25 season. The player is quite excited to begin his new journey. “I’m absolutely delighted to get the deal over the line, it happened quite quickly but I’m happy to get it finalised.”
