The forwards available in the market are pretty scarce compared to previous years. The majority of soccer players are content with their current situation, while others are reluctant to relocate. Manchester United remained in the market for a striker, and they finally got their hands on their chief man. They signed Rasmus Hojlund for $78.8 million and look towards him for inspiration to lead the club forward. Yet, Wrexham goalkeeper, Ben Foster, had other ideas about United’s pursuit of a striker.
There are other players in the market and one of Bayern Munich’s primary targets, Harry Kane, was mentioned among those names. Foster believed he could have made a difference and voiced his opinions about the recent signing.

In a recent interview with The United Stand, “I think personally for me, Man United, a lot will come down to Højlund, and whether he is able to hit the ground running or not. Once again, I’m gonna throw it out there. I think that if Man United could have spent an extra 30 million quid, they could have got Harry Kane. And it’s guaranteed. It’s guaranteed.” The Tottenham Hotspur man looks to leave the club this time and hopefully join the German soccer team.
Yet, they have rejected those bids and want more money for the striker. Thus, Foster described how Hojlund would look to cope with the pressure of United. He continued, “The thing with Højlund is he’s still very young. He’s still very raw. You just don’t quite know whether he’s going to be able to handle it. He’s obviously a very good footballer, but it’s the mental side of it. Playing for Manchester United week in, week out in the Premier League.” The United fans always demand their players to perform at the highest level.
Thus, Foster wanted to know whether he could handle it. Foster proceeded, “Is he going to be able to deal with that and cope with it and then, like say, hit the ground running and score goals as well and that remains to be seen? So it’s a lot of money.”

Several players look to take them forward. The signings of Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Hojlund would be crucial for the team heading to the new season. Hence, Hojlund is a sensational striker who has an eye for goal. The 20-year-old scored nine goals and created seven assists last season in the Serie A. He can lead the line well while making sensational creative plays with his teammates.
