The former Real Madrid player was mentioned in Messi’s book as a rival who calls him ‘mothe*****er.’ Balague revealed this in his last interview with CBS Sports. Balague said, “Cristiano went on his Facebook and says this is a lie, and I’m going to take this guy to court.”

Balague claimed in his book that CR7 addresses Messi with the M word, as he is considered the leading rival for his team. The author also professed that he wrote it in the context of how Ronaldo and his team were warriors who competed at the highest level. However, Balague also confessed that Messi’s book should not have had Ronaldo in it.

The rivalry between Messi and Ronaldo started in the late 2000s. But it almost reached its peak during the early and mid-2010s.
