Brazilian legend Kaka has recently come forward to build his perfect soccer player. While Lionel Messi‘s prominent skills earned him a mention from Kaka to build his dream player, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is often mentioned in the same conjunction with Messi, did not secure a place on the list.

The Real Madrid icon had the privilege of playing for the Los Blancos for a remarkable four years. During his time at the club, he even shared the pitch with Ronaldo from 2009 to 2013. However, in a surprising turn of events, Kaka has decided to not select CR7 in his carefully selected list of six players to construct the most ideal player.

During a recent interview with Goal, the 41-year-old was given the task of constructing the ideal soccer player by selecting one quality from a player. When it came to skill, without hesitation, he chose the Argentine maestro, Lionel Messi. With a pleasant smile, Kaka proclaimed, “I’ll take Messi. I don’t think I need to say something.”

As for other names on this list, the former midfielder opted for Marcelo as his choice for the left foot and Neymar for the right foot. In terms of speed, he went with Kylian Mbappe, while Erling Haaland was his pick for strength. Ultimately, the AC Milan legend decided to select Kevin De Bruyne‘s soccer IQ to finish his ideal player.

Interestingly enough, Cristiano Ronaldo did not cut into any of the categories selected by Kaka. While this is what an ideal player for a soccer legend looks like, let’s also take a look at what the perfect player for a young soccer prodigy like Endrick looks like.

Endrick did a 180 to what Kaka did

Just like Kaka, 17-year-old Endrick, who is set to join Real Madrid this year, had the opportunity to create his ideal soccer player. Unlike Kaka, Endrick decided not to include Lionel Messi in his selection while lauding huge praises for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Brazilian youngster chose him for the strength category.

Additionally, Endrick wanted to name the Portuguese icon for finishing and mentality as well, but the rule of one name per quality prevented him from doing so. For those categories, he named himself and Abel Ferreira, respectively. As for the other attributes, they chose Mbappe for speed, Luka Modric for intelligence, Jude Bellingham for endurance, Vinicius Jr. for dribbling, and Toni Kross for passing. And with these selections, the Brazilian forward created his ultimate soccer player.
