The advisor to the board, Shaun Harvey, got on a video call with owners Ryan and Rob and the executive director, Humphrey Ker, to share the disappointing rejection of the funds. With the mood gloomy as prevalent, Rob explained how he didn’t have the money. He mentioned, “I don’t have £20 million lying around. I don’t know if Ryan does, but I don’t think so. He might say he does, but I would talk to Blake ’cause I bet you he f***ing doesn’t.”
With Harvey confused as to what to do next, Ryan being Ryan, came up with an unusual thought. Reynolds exclaimed, “Uh, I’ll sell one of my children.” The power of the man to completely switch a gloomy situation into optimism is eye-opening. Of course, it is a joke, but Ker took it away by saying, “Oh well, you got so many of them.” Rob jumped on the bandwagon and mentioned, “Yeah, you got a bunch of ’em now.”
Ryan Reynolds has four kids, with the fourth child born recently. Their names are Betty, Inez, and James. He mentioned, “I have four. I mean, I don’t even know their names.” The fourth child’s name remains a mystery, as they have not revealed it. After that, Ker jokingly mentioned, “You can’t possibly..you can’t possibly need all of them.” In the end, Harvey sighed in relief and became cheerful. Finally, they obtained the funding.
