Phil will now return to Manchester to begin rehabilitation. He will not be fit for this weekend’s Premier League game at home to Liverpool and it is unclear at this stage how long he will be unavailable for,said the club in their statement for Foden.

Haaland’s father talked about his injury

Yesterday, Erling Haaland’s father Alfie Haaland talked about how miserable Haaland felt as he was ruled out against Spain. Haaland’s father said, “He is very sad. He wanted to play. The injury has taken us all by surprise. Erling called me worried because they found something that wasn’t right in some preliminary exams.”
