Manchester United is one of the most followed soccer clubs. A club rich with history and glorious moments, fans are naturally passionate about their team and often voice their opinions. The Mancunian club has, for long, received criticism from supporters for its controversial leadership at the helm. They want a change at the top, and even former players like David Beckham have spoken about it. Many were shocked as the United legend brought Lionel Messi to Inter Miami and shared his views on the present ownership.
When the turnover of managers is ridiculous in recent times, the same goes for the ownership of soccer clubs that fail to keep the fans content. And so, Beckham explained the possibility of linking with his favorite club in the distant future.

The Glazers have owned the club for a long time, and fans want a change. During the 2000s, it was widely acknowledged that Old Trafford was the benchmark for all stadiums. However, leaks and cracks have appeared, and the lack of investment hurts the club.
In a recent interview with the Athletic, Beckham stated, “I have a lot going on here at the moment and my focus has purely been on Miami and everything that goes on in my business. But I haven’t been approached and I suppose any involvement with Manchester United would mean the world to me, going forward. But who knows? We’ll see what happens in the next few weeks or months.”
He continued, “Hopefully, a decision gets made and if I’m involved in any way… if not, I’ll be a United fan and just do what all the other fans are doing — turn up and watch our team.” Although multiple ownership can work well, Beckham described not turning down a lucrative offer to own United. But if he does not get involved, there are no doubts about his commitment to the club as a fan!
The question that continues to plague the United fanbase is who will be owning the club next?

Out of all the bidders for the club, Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is a lifelong United fan, are the frontrunners to own the club. Yet, the club’s valuation remains monstrous. Despite having some poor seasons in recent years, United’s reputation remains head and shoulders above the rest.
The next ownership of the club would be critical for their future success. Having one of the most demanding fan bases on the surface of the planet, United can rise and be the best. Do you think they will reclaim their status as the English Premier League’s best?
