Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are ending their second season as owners of Wrexham AFC. While many questioned their experience as team owners, they have evidently shut down all doubts since. In addition to every player who geared up for the Red Dragons, the credit must also go to the new owners.

Reynolds and his partner came to the National League with big promises and have steadily grown the club’s appeal. The Welsh side is far more famous around the globe than even championship clubs, who are multiple divisions above.

Reflecting on one of the biggest debates, Reynolds said, “I wouldn’t dare call it soccer. I care about my well-being enough to not call it soccer.” Despite being from North America, his respect for the soccer community in Wales had rendered him siding with the Europeans on this one.
