The wife of David Beckham during a discussion with the Anti-Bullying Alliance, touched down on some of her childhood experiences. Victoria has taken the learning to heart and has used it to help her daughter become a better person.

Similar to Victoria Beckham, her husband also shared his experiences with bullying in his Netflix docuseries. During the show, the soccer star talked about how things went wrong after his blunder in the 1998 World Cup. However, it seems like the soccer star and his wife have emerged as stronger people following their incidents. Moreover, they have imparted their learning to their children in order to ensure they have the knowledge to deal with tough situations.

The former Spice Girl was present in an interview where she opened up on her childhood experiences. Bullying has been a worldwide issue for a long time with children around the world, a victim of the unfortunate act. Victoria, too, had accumulated some rough experiences during her childhood days.

Victoria during her interview stated that she wants to help her daughter grow up to be a strong and caring person. She also added that she’s taught her daughter to go to a person’s aid if she ever sees anyone get bullied.

“I’m so proud to raise a strong and caring daughter! Growing up, I was bullied a lot at school, and I often talk to Harper about that how important it is to be kind and call out if anyone is ever being bullied especially if there’s ever another little girl on her own in the playground, because that was once her mummy!”

Similar to his wife, Inter Miami owner David Beckham also suffered immensely from bullying during the early years of his career. The player made a massive blunder in the 1998 World Cup that saw fans around England boo the player throughout the year.

The Inter Miami owner has been one of the most influential names in soccer around the world. Fans love the former English international, with many raving to get a glimpse of the star. However, things were not the same back in 1998. Beckham got himself booked in a crucial game against Argentina and was shown the red card which saw England get knocked out of the World Cup.

It enraged fans around England and the player earned a target on his back. Soccer fans didn’t miss an opportunity to take it out on him. Beckham touched down on the incident in his Netflix docuseries, describing how things became very hard for him.

“What I went through was so extreme. The whole country hated me. Hated me. It changed my life. I felt very vulnerable and alone. Wherever I went, I got abused every single day. People look at you in a certain way, spit at you, abuse you, come up to your face and say some of the things that they said. That was difficult,” The Englishman said.

However, the player managed to bounce back following the incident and established himself as one of the best players in the world. It seems like the Beckham family has learned to impart their children with valuable life lessons courtesy of the dreadful incidents they had to suffer through.
