Messi finally won the trophy he craved for. It was the only trophy that was missing out from his cabinet, and, we can safely say, he completed the soccer. However, the weird message from Biden today over Messi’s future is in the headlines.
Argentina is the World Champion, and everyone is showering Messi with praises
Qatar FIFA World Cup ended emphatically with a final to remember. The Argentine team came out as winners on penalties. The Argentine President posted a brilliant video to congratulate the team and Messi on Twitter. His counterpart from the US congratulated him with a message for Messi, “Congratulations to you, Alberto, and to every Argentinian for yesterday’s hard-fought and well-deserved victory. You know, I think that Messi guy might have a future.”.

Lionel Messi scored twice to give Argentina the lead, but France was in no mood to give up. The hat-trick by their talisman Kylian Mbappe meant the game went to the penalties.
The Argentine goalkeeper who won the Golden Glove saved a penalty in the shootout to help the team win the trophy. Lionel Messi was named the best player and won the Golden Ball award. His PSG teammate Mbappe won the Golden Boot with eight goals in the World Cup.
Argentina was crowned World Champions for the third time in history, their first World Cup trophy after 1986. They came close in 2014 but lost to a last-gasp winner from Germany. The fans were anticipating it would be the last international game for Messi, but the player has cleared the air about his future.
Lionel Messi to continue playing with Argentina’s national team
Lionel Messi has earned the right to decide on his future after guiding Argentina to the World Cup trophy. The player is enjoying soccer and wants to continue with the national team as a World Champion. Although it remains to be seen what his club’s future holds.
