Ever since he learned more about the 38-year-old, his fandom for him has grown even more. This also led him to pursue his quest to meet his idol. In fact, recently, his wish came true as he finally met the Al Nassr man. However. Aside from meeting his hero, Speed met with another Portuguese legend, whom he mistakenly assumed to be the president of Portugal.

IShowSpeed mistakes soccer legend for Portugal President

Recently, in order to meet his idol, Speed flew to Portugal. He saw the Al Nassr skipper in action as Portugal rallied for a 3-0 victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Many renowned names were present to watch the emphatic match, and so was Speed. During the match, just after he met Ronaldo, the American YouTuber was waiting to meet another special person.

That was actually Portuguese legend Rui Costa, but in Speed’s eyes, it was someone else. He mistook the former player for the president of Portugal and started shouting to get a picture with him. Costa surprisingly turned around and saw Speed asking him to get a picture. The legend agreed to his request while Speed was shouting, “I’m sorry President, President, I love you. eu te amo…eu te amo. eu sou um Ronaldo fan.”

The streamer was constantly shouting “I love you,” while Costa and his bodyguards were trying to calm him down. While getting the picture clicked, he said, “Yo, president can I get citizenship, Yo can I get an iPhone 14? I love you. Can I get a hug, I love you.. Suiiii.” After getting the picture, he jumped in the air and screamed Suii. Indeed, it was a hysterical moment to watch. Nevertheless, his first meeting with Ronaldo definitely captured hearts.

Finally meets his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo

The day finally came for Speed, as he got to meet his biggest idol. The American YouTuber’s quest to meet the veteran finally ended. He met Ronaldo before the match, and after seeing him, he sat down on the floor in disbelief. When the forward came out of his car, he quickly saw his crazy fan and gave him a hand to get up.

While getting up, he said, “Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, I’m sorry! Oh my god, Ronaldo!” During their encounter, Speed proudly displayed his tattoo of Ronaldo to the footballer. Ronaldo also mentioned that his son made him aware of Speed’s presence. After the initial greetings, both took pictures together and engaged in a conversation once Speed regained his composure. We are happy that he finally got to complete his dream.
