Wrexham AFC has realized its League Two dream after 15 years of wait. But now expectations are high from the fans. The League Two season has started, and odds favor the Reds to earn another promotion this season.
The Reds have enough firepower to achieve promotion this season. Wrexham has several players on its roster with experience to play in the higher leagues. They might be the favorites for going up, but Ryan Reynolds is not ready to be blown away by the odds. His recent comments are a testament to the same.

The Reds started their League Two journey on a losing note. With the loss to MK Dons, their 37-game unbeaten streak at SToK Cae Ras ended. The 3-5 scoreline in favor of the visitors was not conclusive of the game. Wrexham dominated the games with possession and shots but the team wasn’t sharp enough to convert the dominance into victory.

After a reality check on the club’s EFL League Two return, Reynolds soon shrugged off the favorites tag. While speaking to Sky Sports, the Deadpool star said, “I literally do not think along those lines. This is football. You know. I know. He knows. Everyone else here knows anything can happen. So, we don’t count any of those chickens at all until they’re hatched,” when asked about odds favoring Wrexham for back-to-back promotion.

The Red Dragons play Wigan Athletic next in mid-week in the Carabao Cup tie before visiting AFC Wimbledon. They will be without superstar marksman Paul Mullin for the next few games. And it seems the club and the fans are already missing the ailing superstar, who won the Golden Boot when he played in the League Two last time in Cambridge United.
It was a star-studded affair, though, not on the field but off the field. Along with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, another Hollywood superstar embraced the SToK Cae Ras, Australian actor Hugh Jackman. The Deadpool star and Reynolds are shooting in the UK after the significant change made by the producers. They changed the shooting venue reportedly for Reynolds so that he can be closer to Wrexham playing in League Two.
