In a recent clip, they press asked the Marvel superhero who he follows and why. Paul Rudd isn’t the first Hollywood star to be open about their fascination with the sport.
Matthew McConaughey, Ryan Reynolds, and Natalie Portman are the owners of a soccer team, along with many other names. Paul Rudd in the clip talked about the influence soccer had on his life and the reason behind his favorite soccer team.
Fans have seen Wednesday star Jenna Ortega talking about her favorite soccer player and favorite team. In a heartbeat, she took Lionel Messi’s name when during a live a fan asked her to choose from the Argentinean and Cristiano Ronaldo. Paul Rudd didn’t have that quick of an answer but, it was well thought out.

Paul Rudd chooses his favorite soccer team
In a recent clip going viral on Instagram, Rudd was giving an interview. They asked him whether he would choose to be a fan of Underdogs or Champions. He said, “Champions or underdogs. I like underdogs. I mean, since I was a kid and Premier League fans know what this is like. You know, to be a fan of a club for decades, they are terrible and then all of a sudden they are not. “That’s what’s happen to me.”

The interviewer then asked the Antman to choose from North, Midlands, or South teams. Paul Rudd said, “Ill go with south. Maybe has something to do with it both of my parents. Everyone in my family coming from there. Yeah, ill go south. This is who I narrow it down to and I’m going to show you. I’m going to go with Southampton. I love its rich nautical history.”
There was a little sarcastic tone given to the clip. However, it is sure that Rudd was very serious about supporting underdogs. His favorite team is sitting at the last spot, staring right into relegation.
