To everyone’s surprise, the celebrity actually answers the call. Both of them had a very wholesome moment for the first few seconds. However, the streamer didn’t waste much time and got straight to the point. He said, “Drake I always wanted to ask you this question all right please okay”. Drake chuckled while probably already knowing what was coming at him. The rapper obliged, “Go ahead”. The American streamer then asked him to pick between the two soccer legends.

Drake said, “Oh man, that’s a sticky one. Probably for me, probably Ronaldo to be honest. But I know that’s probably not going to go over well you know.” A confused IShowSpeed then asked for clarification. The renowned rapper didn’t shy away and ended the debate with his next few words.

He said, “I mean I know it’s Messi’s moment right now but for me, I just always been a Ronaldo fan you know. I’m like you”. The fans are fully aware that IShowSpeed is a so-called hardcore Ronaldo fan.

Lionel Messi and his boy eventually did, but there was a twist to it.

The betting platform that the rapper used did not account for extra time. The World Cup final’s result was ultimately down to a round of penalties. Hence, even after correctly predicting the result, Drake was not eligible to win his money anymore. Due to that, the renowned artist became a laughingstock in the sports universe for the next few weeks.
