“I Have Been in Real Madrid, I Have Split Up and It’s Not Easy” – Cristiano Ronaldo Got Much Needed Support From Another Club Legend After Break up With Supermodel Irina Shayk in 2015

Cristiano Ronaldo once had quite the reputation for dating various female celebrities including supermodels. From rumors of dating stars like Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton to dating supermodels, Ronaldo has an extensive list when it comes to dating history. The Portuguese forward has now settled down with Georgina Rodriguez, who he started dating in 2016. Before her, he had a long list of girlfriends with whom things didn’t work out as he would have wanted. One such name is Irina Shayk. Ronaldo was in a relationship with the Russian supermodel for around five years.

The pair dated from 2010 to 2015, eventually calling it off due to undisclosed reasons. Months after parting ways, Shayk talked to the press about their relationship.

While talking to the press about her feelings after breaking up with Ronaldo. Shayk said that she used to feel ugly and insecure. She also talked about how the breakup affected her and her mental health.

While talking about good relationships, she said, “If you are going to have a relationship, then it has to be a good one, otherwise, it is best to drop it. Relationships are tough, and you have to know what kind of man you want at your side and what his values are, which is the important thing in life. If you are with somebody, it is because you are both going in the same direction and looking for the same thing.”

This breakup had come during the worst time for Cristiano Ronaldo. His performance was not so good that season and Real Madrid was struggling. People started doubting, but his former teammate Guti took his side and blamed his poor performance on the breakup.

While talking to the press, Ronaldo once said, “I have been in Real Madrid and I have split up, and it’s not easy. It was a difficult time for me. I was playing and taking pills at the same time, and nobody knew about it. These are difficult things to accept, and on top of everything, you have to go out and play every Sunday at the Bernabéu and deal with the pressure.”
