English Soccer legend Wayne Rooney recently appeared in an interview and shed light to his career and his time at Manchester United along with many other stories. His club mate Rio Ferdinand once gave Wayne the title of an angry young man. Throughout his club football career, Wayne has had an unbelievable 100 yellow cards and three red cards.
Rooney has won 12 major trophies in his 13 years with Manchester United. He has 53 goals in his name for the English soccer team for the duration of 2003-2018. In his recent interview, he talks about his anger issues and how they must have been uncomfortable.

In a BBC interview last year while discussing anger issues, he said, “I went in the dressing room and I absolutely erupted. I had to take myself away before I went too far. I took myself into the shower area and had a few seconds to myself.”

While remembering his anger issues back in the day, he said, “The whole first few weeks, the biggest one was we played it on the field in just moving forward a little bit and then he put me on the bench… I remember snapping at noisy… When you look back, he must have been thinking I must be horrible to manage because I just couldn’t take it. I had anger issues and nobody left me on the bench… then I come on, I hit the bar.”

He had been vocal about talking to experts to manage his anger issues. Sir Alex Ferguson had a big part to play in making sure Rooney has his angler in control however, it wasn’t that easy. He still has outbursts of anger when he is a derby manager.

They gave many magical moments to the game, but there was always some sort of tension between the two. Due to Beckham’s competitive nature and Rooney’s anger issues, they came face to face many times. It is reported that once they almost had a fight in the dressing room.

In a 2005 article, The Guardian reported that they exchanged heated words between the legends. It happened after a terrible loss against Northern Ireland in a 2006 World Cup qualifier match. Wayne is a man of passion and his passion used to turn into anger, looks like he is doing better than before.
