Last Saturday, at a press conference featuring Luis Suárez alongside Gremio’s vice-president of soccer, Antônio Brum talked about the striker’s future. Fans were eager to learn about Suárez’s potential collaboration with Inter Miami.

When questioned about interactions with Inter Miami, in the interview Suarez replied, “As far as I understand they communicated with Gremio, and Gremio responded that I had a contract, and at this moment, there is no possibility.

The Uruguayan striker has decided to end his two-year term with Germio midway because of his knee injury. “At first, my intention was that because I felt I had the physical strength to be able to stay for two years, which was what I asked the club for. But one must be honest with oneself, with one’s body and with the club more than anything else, be honest and tell them that next year I was not going to be able to give Gremio what they expect from me because of the load and intensity of Brazilian soccer,” the 36-year-old attacker emphasized.

Luis Suarez’s contract will expire in December 2023, paving the way for different possibilities. As they bid farewell to Suarez, the spotlight shifts to what Inter Miami has in store after he becomes a free agent. And the best part? They are currently relishing the “Messi Magic” on the field!
