“What you can say about him is that he will have the bit between his teeth when he does get back,” said Ben Tozer. “I probably fear for the defenders in our league because he’ll come back with a point to prove.”

The Red Dragons captain then hoped that Mullin returns ASAP as he was key to their promotion last season. “Let’s hope he does that sooner rather than later.”

Phil Parkinson gives an important update on Paul Mullin’s return

Along with Ben Tozer, Wrexham head coach Phil Parkinson was also quipped about Maul Mullin’s injury status. The Englishman was enquired about the potential return date of the talisman to which he replied it’s too soon. “To be honest, it is too early,” said the 55-year-old Parkinson.

He then went on to reveal the course of action from the medical team. “It will be tomorrow morning before the specialist sees him. We will assess things and find out the extent of the injury and then make decisions accordingly. “

Quipped again about the potential return date, the gaffer said he had no clue except the fact that Mullin will be missing the start of the season. “We’ve no idea, as yet, as to how long it will be. He’s out for the start of the season,” informed the Englishman.
