Without a doubt, they were on a rampant run last season, with the team firing on all cylinders. The likes of Erling Haaland, and Kevin De Bruyne, were on top of their game throughout the campaign, helping the side make history.

The Cityzens have retained the momentum from last season. The team, despite a slow start, has put their feet on the gas with the emergence of clinical performances from the young and the experienced members of the squad. With everything on the line, it will be interesting to see if Manchester City can repeat its success from last season.

Pep Guardiola’s side has another chance to etch their name in history books in golden letters. City has been boosted by the return of Kevin De Bruyne, who put on an outrageous performance and turned the tides by winning a nail-biter against Newcastle. With Erling Haaland’s return also on the horizon, Manchester City will most likely, once again, emerge as the deadliest across Europe.
