In December of last year, soccer player Sebastian Lletget and singer Becky G got engaged. The relationship between the two has lasted almost six years. However, recent rumors of Lletget’s infidelity have this couple embroiled in scandal and drama.

Despite their current state, it hasn’t been that long since Becky G and the MLS star started their relationship. They share a love story that began in 2016. This is how Becky G met Sebastian Lletget

During a radio program in 2017, Becky G outlined the details of how it initially went down. Serendipitously, it was her ‘Power Rangers’ co-star Naomi Scott, who introduced the pair. Naomi’s husband, Jordan Spence, had earlier played soccer with Lletget, and it was her who connected the two.

“[Our introduction] kind of came about while we were filming the movie. The way we got introduced, me and Sebastian, was through my co-star Naomi,” Becky G revealed. “Her husband — she’s 23, they’ve been married for a couple years now — and [him] played soccer together, him and Sebastian. So Nae met me and was like, ‘Girl, you’re awesome! You deserve to be with a man!'”

Despite Naomi’s insistence and best intentions, the singer was hesitant to meet as she was dedicated to her career at the time. “I was like, ‘Nah, I don’t want to be with anybody. I’ve been there, done that [with] the relationship thing. I’m focused right now. I’m good, I’m good.’ She’s like, ‘It’s fine, it’s fine, I already know who you’re going to marry. It’s fine, it’s fine,'” she recalled.

Despite Becky G’s initial protests, and with a little insistence from Scott, the two finally did meet. The two eventually hit it off and began their relationship shortly afterward. While both ended up hitting it off, the couple’s relationship has now fallen victim to infidelity and drama the likes of which no one expected.

Did Sebastian Lletget cheat on his partner?

Becky G and Sebastian Lletget had a promising relationship for almost six years, eventually leading to an engagement. Unfortunately, this was followed by speculation of infidelity on the soccer star’s part. A user on social media alleged to have evidence of Lletget’s cheating on the American singer. Following the bold claim, Lletget himself issued a public apology.

It appears that things have taken a turn for the worse, as neither Sebastian nor Becky G has publicly addressed the status of their relationship yet.
