Pique’s aversion to celebrating Valentine’s Day stems from his belief that love should be celebrated and expressed every day, not just on a designated holiday.

“I don’t even celebrate Valentine’s Day because, for me, it’s Valentine’s Day every day,” he stated. During Valentine’s season, while the Barcelona legend refrained from celebrating his first Valentine’s Day with Clara Chia, his former partner Shakira found her own spicy way to mark the occasion.

Rather be in jail than alone”. It is evident that this was yet another tongue-in-cheek jab at her former partner.
