We’ve noticed in the past everyone in Wrexham lives like they’re one happy family. Since their arrival, the Hollywood owners have had open and honest interactions with everyone in the squad. A few hours ago, the Welsh soccer club‘s director posted something quite heartwarming on Instagram. That carousel of pictures and exchange of words prove how close the director’s family was with Ben Tozer, the club captain.
Apart from this one, the most recent example to prove they are a like a family surrounded by Rob McElhenney and Paul Mullin. The club co-owner allowed Mullin to stay at his home after picking up an injury.

Wrexham captain Ben Tozer’s deep bond with Director’s family comes to light
Just yesterday, Wrexham played their first Carabao Cup game in fifteen years. The Welsh soccer club barely managed to scrape to victory during the penalty shootout. After a goalless 90 minutes, the game could have wildly swung any side. Wrexham director Humphrey Ker‘s family was present for the game. Ker posted a carousel of pictures of his family happily decked up in Wrexham merchandise.
Interestingly, a few of those pictures had the club’s captain in them. In the caption, he wrote, “The Ker family’s love affair with Ben Tozer intensifies.“ From the looks of it, Ben Tozer is quite pally with almost everyone from the Ker family. Among the thousands of likes, Tozer joined the bandwagon too. He dropped a sweet message for everyone in the family in the comments section.

He wrote, “Lovely to meet them all. West country’s finest”. Unsurprisingly, this isn’t the only close connection in the squad. The club owners are close to every player in the squad but much closer to a few of them. A recent example of the same was when Rob McElhenney didn’t hesitate to host the team’s main goal scorer at his home for a few days.
Paul Mullin picked up an unfortunate injury during the preseason. Due to this, he couldn’t leave the area for a few days. The goal scorer did not have any family or friends in America, and that’s when McElhenney stepped in.

Rob McElhenney allowed Paul Mullin to stay in his home!
Currently, Mullin is recovering from a punctured lung. Because of that, he wasn’t allowed to leave San Diego. McElhenney took notice of the situation and offered a helping hand. The Hollywood star was willing to host the Wrexham star at his home for some days. In an interview, the actor quoted, “We didn’t want him to be alone and so lonely. So, he’s going to come stay with us at the house.”

Further, he revealed that his wife wouldn’t attend the MK Dons game and stay back with him. One of his two kids wanted to fly to the UK and watch the game. But the other one was ready to ditch his father to stay back with the super striker. In short, the new owners at Wrexham are rewriting the definition of how a soccer club owner should actually be with the players and staff of their club.
