News recently emerged that Yamal’s father, Mounir Nasraoui, was stabbed in a car park. Earlier, the reports from the Spanish outlet La Vanguardia shed light on the incident that transpired at a car park in Mataró, a town in Catalonia, Spain on Wednesday evening. The teenage superstar’s father was quickly taken to the emergency room before he was forced to be shifted to another health facility, the Can Ruti Badalona Hospital. Nasraoui’s prognosis was quite serious at that time as he was stabbed in the back.

Still, currently, his family and loved ones can have a sigh of relief. Relevo reported that Yamal’s father is now in stable condition, although he still hasn’t been discharged from the Can Ruti hospital. This is a precautionary step that they have to take as it is required. Nasraoui shall remain at the facilities under further notice by the hospital as they wish to keep him under strict observation.

However, local police haven’t dismissed the possibility that it might be connected to Mounir Nasraoui’s involvement in a previous dispute with the individuals involved. Reports indicate that the stabbing occurred after Nasraoui while walking his dog in the Rocafonda neighborhood, was yelled at and had water thrown at him from a balcony.

This altercation took no time to escalate into a fight, which led to the unfortunate outcome. Although the argument may have taken place earlier in the day, the stabbing itself occurred later in the afternoon. Local authorities were informed by the witnesses who saw the whole incident. Subsequently, the wrongdoers were apprehended around 11:00 pm as neighbors reported seeing more than eight police cars arriving at the scene.

Additionally, COPE reported that Mossos and the Municipal Police detained three suspects, while one is yet to be found. Meanwhile, Yamal’s father’s car remains parked at the Can Ruti parking lot, and Nasraoui is still recovering in the hospital.
