The curiosity of people has often led to new inventions. Let’s take an example of space. A few years ago, it seemed impossible to explore the cosmos beyond Earth, but agencies like NASA have made enthralling advancements. Recently, NASA’s chief used none other than Lionel Messi as an example, hinting about inventions and future programs.

By using Messi’s name, the NASA chief wanted to let the audience know about the possibilities of the future. But what are the potentialities, and what the space organization chief tried to convey by giving an example of Inter Miami superstar?

“How would you like to send Messi into space?” Nelson started. The NASA chief further claimed it’s not impossible for any Argentine to travel to cosmic space, as the science is advancing. “It is not unreasonable, in the near future, to think of an Argentine astronaut. And any of you can be one,” Nelson opened the door for Argentina’s space program by inspiring the students.

Nelson also spoke of future space programs at NASA. He revealed about the moon mission in 2024 and 2025, with the space organization aiming to step on the moon in 2025. They are also planning to travel farthest toward the South Pole. Also, NASA is preparing for the simulations of life experiences on Mars, intending to send the first human crew by 2030.

However, the NASA chief might have garnered better attention from the Argentine students by involving Messi.
