The moment is finally here! In just a few hours, Alex Morgan will lace up her boots for one last time during the San Diego Wave Vs North Carolina Courage NWSL clash. The match, set to be held at the Wave’s home ground, Snapdragon Stadium, will kick off at 5:00 PM PST/8:00 PM ET. As she prepares for the final game of her illustrious career, all eyes will be on the USWNT icon. But how can ardent fans watch Morgan in action for one last time on TV or live-stream?
Well, all the supporters are in luck as the network providers are themselves going the extra mile to make sure the 35-year-old’s final game is watched by everyone. This would be perhaps the first time in broadcasting history that we will witness multiple media companies simultaneously covering the same event during Alex Morgan’s final game.
Hence, CBS Sports Network, Paramount+, Amazon Prime Video, ESPN2, ESPN+, and NWSL+ will all be broadcasting the final game featuring the 2x World Champion. It doesn’t end here as CBS Sports will also host 30-minute pre- and post-match studio shows with the Attacking Third crew simulcasting on CBS Sports Network and Paramount.

Originally, the match would have been televised solely on NWSL+ and Paramount+. All four network giants had earlier struck a monumental $240 million media rights deal with the NWSL to distribute over 118 matches for over four years. However, now everyone will be showcasing the match exclusively for fans, considering the significance of the event to expand its coverage.
While you may require a subscription to watch the game on CBS Sports Network, Paramount+, Amazon Prime Video, and ESPN, the NWSL+ is available for free and fans can watch the game there without any kind of purchase. They would just be required to sign up. Likewise, the NWSL+ app is available on Apple TV, Roku, and Amazon Firestick.

A pre-match ceremony is set to take place before kickoff, and the Wave plans to highlight her legacy during their final home game on November 3. However, despite the short notice, the USWNT has not yet announced an official farewell for Morgan. Since her early retirement is due to her pregnancy, a formal goodbye match, which many believe she deserves, may not be feasible. However, fans certainly won’t remember what Alex has done for their beloved nation.
