The anticipation levels have soared to new heights in Florida. The MLS club, owned by David Beckham, prepares to unveil arguably the greatest soccer player. Set to unfold on July 16, Inter Miami’s much anticipated Lionel Messi announcement has already sent shockwaves in the soccer world.

It has proved an enormous addition for the Herons, as their fanbase soared exponentially. After landing one of the greatest players, it seems Beckham would love some more Argentine talent. Inter Miami has set its sights on a plethora of Messi’s compatriots.

Messi was in talks with FC Barcelona over a potential return. There was also a billion-dollar offer from Saudi Arabia for the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner. But all of a sudden, Inter Miami popped up and landed the World Cup winner. Superficially it seemed like a last-ditch effort from Beckham’s club, but as co-owner Jorge Mas revealed, Messi’s signing was the fruit of three years of efforts.?

After landing the former PSG superstar, Beckham got another Argentine on board. Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino replaced Phil Neville in the dugout. The recent reports suggest this Argentine revolution in Miami will continue. It seems Inter Miami has landed another Argentine. The deal is in place to sign Facundo Farias from Colon de Santa Fe.

The Colon Academy product will play for the MLS club for the next five seasons. Farias is an attacking midfielder who represented Argentina U-15 at international level. But the Colon Prodigy isn’t the only one on the list. Beckham’s club also lined up 19 years old Tomas Aviles of Racing Club de Avellaneda, 19 years old Juan Gauto of Huracan, 21 years old Cristian Medina of Boca Juniors, and 20 years old Equi Fernandez, alsd of Boca Juniors.?

Reports are emerging that the Herons are in for the World Cup winner and goalkeeper. Inter Miami is interested in signing Franco Armani, Messi’s international teammate, and Qatar World Cup winner. However, the speculations are Armani will join the MLS franchise in December.?

It is evident from the ages of the Argentine players linked that Inter Miami is building for the future. Farias’ signing was a recommendation of newly appointed manager Tata Martino. And if the plans go through, we can see a plethora of talents from the South American nation heading to Florida.?
