Hours After Leaving Spain, Shakira’s ‘Latin American’ Attack on Ex-Gerard Pique Crosses Major 800k Milestone

For the last two months, Shakira has been in the public eye for her hard-hitting diss tracks. The Colombian singer lit the music industry on fire after she decided to fire shots against her ex-boyfriend through her music. Just hours ago, the singer relocated to America with her children. On the other hand, Gerard Pique finally opened up about his thoughts on the entire diss track controversy.

While speaking about it, the soccer veteran did not shy away from taunting the Latin American singer and her fans.

In response to that, Shakira posted a tweet after landing in America. In less than a day, her tweet has already crossed a major milestone on Twitter.

Shakira’s reply to Pique’s taunts goes viral!

Two days ago, Pique was having a casual conversation with Gerard Romero on YouTube. During the conversation, Pique also addressed his long-lasting public feud with his ex-girlfriend. While speaking about the same, he had some strong words for the singer and her fans. On this occasion, the soccer veteran did not hold back his thoughts at all.

He said, “My ex-partner is Latin American. You don’t know what I’ve received from her fans on social media. Thousands of barbarities”, as per NBC DFW. Shakira saw this and replied to the FC Barcelona legend in a few hours. She wrote on Twitter, “Orgullosa de ser Latinoamericana”. That translates to, “Proud to be Latin American”. Along with that, she also showcased the flags of Latin American countries.

This tweet was very well received on social media. Her tweet crossed 800,000 likes and only became her second tweet to surpass that milestone. The first tweet to cross that milestone was when she wrote “This time for Africa”, during the 2022 FIFA World Cup for the Moroccan soccer team.

Moving on, Shakira’s departure from Spain has finally taken place. The Colombian singer will now look to begin a new life with her family.

Shakira is already busy after landing in America!

As per recent reports, Shakira was waiting for the doctor’s verdict all this while. Her father, William Mebarak was supposed to undergo surgery for the trauma he sustained to his head from a fall in 2022. However, the doctors recently informed the Latin American singer that they didn’t have the means to perform the surgery.

The Waka–Waka singer then thought that it would be a better idea to take her father to America instead. The hospitals would be more technologically advanced to conduct the surgery. On the other hand, Shakira’s kids will attend their first day of school on April 11 at Miami Country Day. In no time, the 46-year-old and her family are already busy with their new beginning in America.
