The Brazilian team that many feared disappeared a long, long time ago. The five-time World Champions are not posing a threat at the international level like they once did. After a disappointing result from the World Cup, a recent qualification match left fans fuming. However, a few players, including Neymar, gave themselves a rest by going on a binge.
Brazil had a shocking end to the last World Cup after Croatia outwitted them in the quarter-finals. The event further led to the resignation of its coach, Tite, and Neymar’s future with the Selecao hung in the balance. But with hopes of not giving up, Neymar chose to continue his international services.

Brazil has started the World Cup qualifiers for 2026 with two wins in the first set of matches last month. However, the Canarinhos have not started this break on a good note. Nevertheless, after having an off day on the field against Venezuela, Neymar and a couple of his Brazilian teammates went to a private party.

Following the draw in Cuiabá, Neymar, along with Vinicius Junior and Richarlison, attended an elite feast. The party took place in a luxurious flat in the same city known for its party culture and music. Neymar’s sister, Rafaella Santos, also joined the players after some time. Rafaella is believed to be very close to her brother.
Meanwhile, on the pitch, Neymar failed to fire for the Selecao and both he and the team delivered a lukewarm performance against Venezuela. The tension in the stadium was palpable. So much so – that after the game, a fan expressed his anger in a far-from-ideal act.

Ney and company feel the wrath of a furious crowd
Brazil went to the international break on the back of two previous wins. But the Sambas drew 1-1 with the Venezuelan team, who are ranked 53rd in the world. Brazil’s only goal came from Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes, who headed the ball from Neymar’s corner. Eduard Bello, however, scored in the 85th minute to level the game for Venezuela.
After the result, fans were absolutely furious with the team and showed their anger by throwing popcorn at the 31-year-old star. Neymar, who recently broke Pele’s record of scoring the highest number of goals for the Brazilian men’s team, got no respite from the crowd. Brazil is 2nd after Argentina on the table. They will play the two-time champions Uruguay on Tuesday, hoping to add three more points.
