Neymar Jr’s surprise role in the politician’s gender reveal ceremony

Breaking Pele’s record of all-time highest goal scorer for Brazil, Neymar made headlines across the world. The Brazilian superstar was part of the squad for their WC qualifiers. With the game against Peru on the brink, Neymar is currently traveling with the Selecao and preparing for their next game. But, interestingly, Neymar made a surprise appearance at the gender reveal ceremony of Brazilian politician, Nikolas Ferreira.

In a video posted by Nikolas Ferreira on Instagram, Neymar Jr. handled the task of revealing the gender of the baby, that Nicolas Ferreira and his wife Lavia are expecting. However, Neymar wasn’t present alongside Ferreira due to his national team duties, he joined the couple via video call to break out the news. Donning the Brazilian national team’s travel uniform, Neymar took center stage, as the anticipation increased.

In the video, Neymar said, “Brother, congratulations. And you’re going to be a father to… a girl, just like me. Congratulations, brother!” The subsequent burst of pink smoke marked the beginning of celebrations for the arrival of a baby girl, who is named Aurora.

Nikolas Ferreira shared this video with the caption, Welcome, Aurora! “The path of the righteous is like the light of Aurora, which shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day.” Neymar also commented, ‘Congratulations warrior! God bless Aurora’s life.’

Neymar, along with his partner Bruna Biancardi, is awaiting the birth of his second child, a baby girl named Mavie.

Brazil hoping to continue their winning ways after their solid start
