Al Alami made a dominative presence in the attacking third with five consecutive wins. They already netted 22 goals, surpassing every team in just seven games in the league. This underscores their unwavering commitment this season to aim for improved standings and clinching championship titles in every competition. In this instance, Prince Abdul Rahman bin Musaed praised the club for their outstanding performances following their 4-3 victory against Al Ahli.

The former Al Hilal president endorsed Al Alami as the top team for this season to win the Saudi league. He admired Al Nassr’s offensive firepower over his former team, featuring Anderson Talisa, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Sadio Mane in the forward line. Abdul Rahman remarked in an interview, “I nominate Al Nassr to win the league, because of its tremendous attacking power”.

Furthermore, the Knights of Najd capitalize on the goal-scoring opportunities and extend their lead in the game. Their triumphant campaign was eagerly anticipated following a series of impactful signings at every forefront of the squad.

Cristiano Ronaldo-led Al Nassr had an emphatic summer transfer window

Al Nassr invested a substantial $176 million in the transfer window with seven significant signings in the 2023-24 season. Al Alami already secured the services of Cristiano Ronaldo on the team. CR7 was accompanied by the Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane, with a marque signing worth $32 million. The ex-Liverpool winger helped to elevate the offensive workload from Ronnie. Al Alami bolstered their midfield with two emphatic players with a striking deal.

Al Nassr acquired Otavio from Porto with a record fee of $64 million. The Brazilian-born star contributes to settling the attacking midfield. Marcelo Brozovic was also brought on board with a $16 million deal. The Croatian star strengthens Al Alami’s defensive midfield. Meanwhile, Seko Fofana was yet another name that boosted the central defending ranks of Al Nassr. Alex Telles was also a bargain for $7.4 million from Manchester United.

Lastly, Al Alami sealed a $29 million agreement for Aymeric Laporte from the treble winners, bolstering the central defense. Al Nassr’s heavy spending reflects their on-field performances as they aim to maintain this stint as the season moves ahead.
