According to BBC, Dingley mentioned, “I’m really excited for this next step of my career. I am grateful for the opportunity to step up and lead such a progressive and forward-thinking club.” It was not a straightforward path to success, as she joined the club in 2019. After that, she took over the academy to keep going. But since then, she rose through the ranks to create a change in the soccer club. Finally, she is the caretaker manager for the English club.
Club chairman Dale Vince also gave his appreciation to the new boss. He stated, “It’s perhaps telling for the men’s game that in making this appointment on merit, we’ll break new ground – and Hannah will be the first female head coach in English [men’s] football.”
Dingley faces several challenges to overcome if the team aims to achieve their goals.
