Al Ittihad took advantage of Al Nassr sharing the spoils with Al Khaleej. They won their game and increased their lead at the top to five points. It will take a miracle for Al Nassr to overturn the deficit in the remaining five games. They might have to wait one more season for winning the title. Al Nassr last won the Saudi Pro League in the 2018-19 season.

Al Nassr’s coach concerned with the poor form of Talisca

At one point, Anderson Talisca was in the driver’s seat to win the Golden Boot in the Saudi Pro League this season. The Brazilian was the primary man of the club, especially in the first half of the season. He had 13 goals in his first 15 appearances for the club. Meanwhile, the forward is going through a rough patch recently.

Talisca has scored only three goals in his last eight outings in all competitions for Al Nassr. It has raised concerns over his performances, with many connecting it to the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. Talking about it, head coach Dinko Jelicic said“Talisca is good with Cristiano in training, but in matches his performance is low.”

Jelicic feels the Brazilian is not able to bring his training form to the pitch. He will hope for Talisca and Ronaldo to start scoring goals ahead of the new season. Al Nassr is eyeing a Saudi Pro League title. In their attempt, they have broken the bank to sign Ronaldo, who hasn’t been able to inspire them due to his inconsistent form this season.
