The Greek tactician’s opinion on Harry Kane is quite clear. He said, “I think he’s the best ever here” when speaking about the former Spurs captain. Yet, it seems Postecoglou considers Erling Haaland at the same level. He revealed, “I think there’s a similarity around their ability to finish and focus on scoring goals”. Quite the complement for the Norwegian when considering Kane’s reputation as one of the best strikers in English Premier League history. Moreover, the Spurs boss also highlighted the elite mentality of the two strikers.

He revealed that both Erling Haaland and Kane possess a laser eye focus, a quality exclusive to elite strikers. Considering City’s attacking prowess, the best option for Ange Postecoglou would be relying on his attacking players. However, does he have the players to pull off a Harry Kane-like performance?

This time around, Spurs obviously don’t have Harry Kane. Son Heung Min is the main man with 8 goals in 14 games. Dejan Kulusevski and a young Brennan Johnson are both difference-makers as well.
