According to Ten Hag, this was an unacceptable action from a professional soccer star who is expected to be dedicated to his team. Manchester United’s manager calls out the mistake of the English star

Ever since Erik Ten Hag became a part of The Red Devils, a lot has happened at the club. If any player displeases the manager with their lack of commitment, Ten Hag has not hesitated to call them out. Presently, the team has scored just 12 goals this season in the Premier League, and this naturally bothers the manager. Things reached their boiling point when the Red Devils faced a terrible loss against Manchester City in the derby.

Following this, when Marcus Rashford celebrated his birthday, Ten Hag was deeply disappointed. Regarding the same, he said, “Yes, I am aware of it, I spoke with him about it. It is unacceptable. I told them, he apologized, and that is it. It is an internal matter.”
