After the FIFA World Cup its antics and action, fans are ready to witness the FIFA Club World Cup 2022. The tournament will be taking place in Morocco, kick off on 1st February and they will crown the winner on 11th. Clubs from all around the world are joining the competition. Last week, the organizers have held a draw to decide the fixture of the tournament. Fans are excited because they might finally see an MLS team Seattle Sounders playing against a European club.

There are teams in this tournament coming from all around the world. Teams like Al-Hilal, Wydad AC, CR Flemingo, and Auckland City FC, along with three other teams. Fans are excited about the potential matchup of the MLS Team joining the tournament. The team will begin their campaign in the 2nd round on 4th Feb against the winner of the round one match.

Seattle Sounders vs Real Madrid got fans excited

The MLS team will kick off their tournament playing against the winner of M1 scheduled on 1st Feb. M1 will be between Al Ahly FC and Auckland FC. The winner of this match will face Seattle Sounders in round 2. However, more than that fans are excited about the possibility of the semi-finals of the tournament.

According to the fixtures and schedule, there is a possibility that the MLS team might face European giant Real Madrid. The club is here after winning the UEFA Champions League. Meanwhile, Seattle Sounders came here after winning the CONCACAF Champions League trophy. The semi-finals will be played on 7-8th February, the other team already in the semi-finals is CR Flamingo. They will face the winner from Wydad AC VS Al-Hilal in the 2nd round.

The Seattle Sounders defeated UNAM by 5-2 on aggregate, winning the last leg 3-0.

Real Madrid on the other hand is coming in hot by winning the UEFA Champions League. Real Madrid defeated Liverpool FC by 1-0 in the finals to win their 14th Champions League title. This gave them direct semifinal entry to the Club World Cup. This is the 6th time they will be participating in the tournament. They are aiming for the 5th trophy.
