On Saturday, the LA Galaxy locked horns with the Vancouver Whitecaps at the latter’s home ground. The hosts defeated LA 4-2. LA Galaxy midfielder Mark Delgado scored one of the two goals during the matchup. Other than the defeat, an ankle injury also came hitting for Delgado in the match.
Before Messi’s Inter Miami presentation, Delgado took to Twitter and broke his silence on his injury. “Hopefully it ain’t too serious. Appreciate the love!,” Delgado tweeted. In the tweet, he also wrote hashtag “TurfS**ks .” This indeed is a sly dig at clubs that use artificial turf instead of grass. Several studies conducted by sports medicine experts prove that players who play in turfs are more prone to injuries than those who play in grass. Anyhow, several MLS sides, including the Whitecaps use turfs.
Hopefully it ain’t too serious 🤞🏼 Appreciate the love! 🙏🏼 #TurfSucks

This fan has a similar distaste for turfs. Well, it seems reasonable enough.
