The club will look for supporters to fill the stadium next season in the fourth division. The Racecourse Ground was one of the biggest stadiums in the National League. But where does it stand in comparison to the stadiums of clubs in League Two?

Comparing the Racecourse Ground to other stadiums in League Two

The Racecourse Ground has a capacity of 10,771. Currently, the Valley Parade of Bradford City is the stadium with the highest capacity in the EFL League Two. The stadium can hold 25,136 fans during games. It is over two times that of Wrexham AFC’s stadium. There are a few more stadiums bigger than the Racecourse Ground recently.

If we compare the iconic Racecourse Ground to the current League Two stadiums, it will be ranked 9th overall. The other stadiums that are larger than Wrexham’s stadium include Brunton Park of Carlisle United (18,202), Prenton Park of Tranmere Rovers (16,789), The County Ground of Swindon Town (15728), and The Keepmoat Stadium of Doncaster Rovers (15231).

There are a few stadiums that have the capacity almost close to the Racecourse Ground. The world’s third-oldest soccer club started playing at the Racecourse Ground in 1864, and it is the iconic stadium in soccer. It is the oldest stadium in the history of soccer, where international matches are still played.

It may not be the largest stadium next season in League Two but will remain iconic in the history of Wales.
