While most opponents are scared of facing the World Cup Champion, Inter’s rival club star player showed excitement on Messi’s arrival.

Álvaro Martín Barreal is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati. Upon getting asked about his opinion on Messi’s move to Miami, Álvaro’s statement touched several Messi fans.

He said, “He is a totally different player from the rest, obviously this tournament is getting a little complicated for his team and it will be a little difficult for him, but I think he will be able to score three or four goals per game.”

Álvaro did mention that MLS might be a challenge for the Argentine star at the start; however, owing to his splendid skills and talent, Messi will surely leave a huge legacy behind. The FC Cincinnati striker also says that it would be an immense challenge for MLS defenders to counter Messi.

“When a franchise player arrives, he makes noise in the league, but I don’t know if we are going to scratch Messi,” he said, adding that Messi would surely adapt quickly to the US soccer. Although Álvaro showed tons of excitement, Messi’s first opponents are unfazed to challenge him.
