Wrexham AFC is conquering heights. The club is enduring one of the best moments in its history as they continue getting their name on billboards. They have achieved significant success under the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. According to Deadpool director Shawn Levy, what Reynolds took as a side venture and hobby has actually turned into his obsession. This was revealed on the Emmys 2022 red carpet by the famous producer, who says his obsession has actually turned into a problem.

While speaking to Canadian entertainment show eTalk, Levy said, “First of all, Ryan’s obsession with Wrexham is a problem. His obsession with Canada was already a problem, but it was a problem we could support. It was like a dirty little habit, but also like a loveable habit.”

The Stranger Things producer also revealed that he thus faced problems with Reynolds while shooting the film. “His obsession with Wrexham, also by the way, the obsession of all of Wales with Ryan Reynolds is becoming problematic. Like, I’m trying to get us ready to shoot Deadpool and he’s so distracted by this football team.”

It has come to a point that the Canadian is desperate to get the Welsh club featured in his upcoming Deadpool movie.
