“He Knows He Cheated on Her Right?”: Gerard Pique’s Latest Cheeky Jibe at Shakira Invites Ire Among Soccer World

The saga between Shakira and Gerard Pique has become an never ending argument. Both are constantly in the headlines, and the brawl is burgeoning day by day.

The couple had been together for almost 11 years before deciding to split up. Since then, both have publicly taken jibes at each other. More recently, Shakira released a track to diss the former FC Barcelona man.

In the track, the pop star seems to be quite vindictive and has slammed Pique for several atrocious behaviors while they were together. She used slang to mock her ex-boyfriend and was critical of Pique’s current rumored girlfriend, Clara.

However, Pique doesn’t seem to care at all and has responded to all the grating in quite a savage way.

Pique responds to Shakira

As soon as the song was released, netizens went crazy, and the track became an instant hit. In the first 24 hours, the song received 63 million views. This made it the most-viewed Latin song. Currently, the song has 141 million views and 7.9 million likes.

In the meantime, Pique also replied to the recent dig his ex-girlfriend took at him. During a recent podcast for his new venture, Kings League, the Spaniard was asked about his favorite Bizarrap song.

Pique replied that he doesn’t know the names of the songs, but when talking about the most recent one, he laughed. This isn’t the first time he has mocked the famous singer.

In the song, one part says, “You traded a Ferrari for a Twingo,” to which Pique has replied in quite a ferocious way. Recently, while attending a program, Pique literally brought a Renault Twingo and drove it to the event.

Interestingly, he also took another shot at the 45-year-old, who also mentioned, “You traded a Rolex for a Casio.” Ironically, Casio is the sponsor of the King’s League. During the stream, he said, “Casio is a great watch, it lasts a lifetime,” while subtly remarking on the subject.

Once again, after yet another feud between the former star couple, netizens around the world are furious with the former center-back. The fans in support of Shakira have blasted Pique on Twitter.

While other fan base were supportive of the 35-year-old and praised his sense of humour.

This tussle between the pair seems to have taken new level of mediocrity and will be there for quite some time. God forbid what might be the next scuffle might be. We hope things get cool between the two, but it surely doesn’t look that way.
