This season injuries have hit all the Premier League teams this season. Some players have constantly suffered pain with knocks and nibbles. However, Norway manager Stale Solbakken has said in an interview that Erling Haaland is not one of them. Solbakken speaking on the 23-year-old escaping injuries said,” It’s art! Erling has an explosive style of play. The package you have been given and physically acquired will explode and perform maximum actions on Sunday-Wednesday-Saturday every week in a normal season. He is the type of player who lives on power and explosion and jerks and nibbles.”
Erling Haaland did recently miss seven games including the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final and final. This is because he suffered a stress reaction on his bone. Hence, Pep Guardiola decided to rest him to avoid the risk of a long-term injury in the latter half of this season. The 23-year-old has started training with the team during the FIFA Club World Cup.

Haaland could replicate his partnership with Kevin De Bruyne

These were extraordinary statistics as it was Haaland’s first season with Manchester City. This shows the effective partnership they have developed.
However, De Bruyne’s injury at the start of this season spoiled the party. Now, that the Belgian playmaker is back to training, this suddenly makes Manchester City an even more dangerous team for the rest of the season.
