Premier League slowly working towards the end of the season, and Manchester United is working to solidify its place in the top 4 of the league. While Arsenal and Manchester City almost locked the top 2 positions, Newcastle might just take over Tottenham and Manchester United if things went slightly towards them.

Keeping aside the brutal stomp Manchester United got from Liverpool, the team has looked fairly strong. Former players have pointed out how Cristiano Ronaldo leaving and the limelight falling on the young stars have turned out to be a blessing for the team.

Last year the team got many new names, one of the names was Brazilian winger Antony Santos. He came to fill the shoes of the French megastar Paul Pogba. After 8 years with Manchester United, Pogba went to Serie A and joined Juventus. The Brazilian winger didn’t only take his place in the team but apparently has also taken his living space.

Manchester United starlet shows off Pogba’s house

ESPN FC posted a clip on Instagram which shows United starlet Antony Santos talking about what changes he wants to make in his home. It was in the middle of the clip they revealed that the house Santos brought previously belonged to the legendary French midfielder. He also shows off a pool table that Pogba had custom-made for him, talking about how he has to now change the initials on the table.

He said, “Yes, there was an old owner, but I’m going to need to change this. This ‘PP’. It was Paul Pogba’s house, there is a P from Pogba still here. This is one of the things he made, so I’m going to have to change it, right? I need to put the ‘AS’ for Antony Santos. This isn’t staying here anymore. I’m happy to be in the house that belonged to a star player.” It is safe to say that the young starlet is literally following one of his idol’s steps.

The starlet has appeared in 14 matches for Manchester United and has scored 3 goals. His effects are very apparent on the defensive end. Manchester has been performing better and is aiming to be in a UCL qualifying position.

The see-saw of a soccer league

Talking about Manchester United and Premier League as a whole, it has been an inconsistent couple of weeks. People say soccer is unpredictable and the results are proving so. It all started when high-performing Arsenal barely squeezed out a win against relegation-facing Bournemouth. Meanwhile, on the same day, Liverpool FC was torching Manchester United and showing them one of their heaviest defeats in history.

Liverpool in their very next match, would go on to lose against Bournemouth. Even without considering their last match, it was a big upset. Keeping their bad week alive, Manchester United then went for a goalless draw against the team, which stood at the bottom of the table. Southampton would again go to stop Tottenham to a draw thanks to a penalty conversion in the last minutes of the game. Fans went crazy and are expecting the same excitement from the upcoming match days.
