Neymar Jr. put up an impressive performance in Brazil’s second consecutive win under Fernando Diniz. Although Ney had a good game, critics seemed to not be satiated. This time a Peruvian sports commentator took shots at Neymar tagging him as a “spoiled little boy”.
Richarlison flicked the ball inside the net early in the game, but the ref soon canceled out the goal. The winning goal came from Marquinhos, who made a run to the front post and scored a stunning header only in the dying minutes of the match, securing a 1-0 win for the Selecao.

Neymar has now bagged 2 goals and 2 assists in his last two fixtures for Brazil. The player is now up and running after coming back from a long injury. However, a Peruvian sports commentator and journalist was not happy with what he saw on the pitch from the Brazilian.
In an interview with La Republica, sports journalist, Diego Rebagliati said, “It’s as if he were a spoiled ‘little boy’ on the field. He cries, cries, and cries.” Rebagliati was also the sports commentator for the match between Peru and Brazil.
During the game, Rebagliati fumed and grew frustrated because he believed Neymar was diving and seeking fouls constantly. He then labeled him to be a ‘spoiled child’ who incessantly cries until his demands are met.

Despite facing severe criticism from all the fronts, Neymar had a good time in Brazil. The soccer maestro was out with an injury when he signed for Al Hilal. And so, on the cautious side, Jorge Jesus left him out of the squad for both matches before the international break. Neymar also wanted to take this time off as he was focused on the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Al Hilal talisman was in constant talks with the Brazil management and kept them updated regarding injury status. As soon as Neymar arrived in Brazil he gave an interview in which he described that he and Lionel Messi were “living through hell” during their time at PSG.
Supporters of the club and pundits alike criticized the remark. He then broke Pele’s record for the highest goal-scoring individual for Brazil in the match against Bolivia, with many pundits stating that his record was inconsequential. Before taking a bus to Belem International Airport, he met and greeted fans, breaking a major security protocol. The fans of Al Hilal now await to see their million-dollar signing pulling off the same wonders for their rejuvenated club.
