Later, when they ran diagnostics, it was later revealed that Mullin has unfortunately punctured his lungs. So far, no further communication has come from the club except by Ryan Reynolds, who left a cheeky caption on Instagram. A few hours before, Ryan Reynolds met UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his team to discuss filmmaking in the country.

He shared the pic online with the caption detailing his visit to the residence of the Prime Minister. He ended the caption addressing Rob McElhenney’s absence by cheekily implying that Rob is absent since he is “having a word with Man Utd’s youth team goalie.

However, Manchester United’s U21 head coach has come out in defense of his under-fire goalkeeper.

After suffering a 3-1 loss against Wrexham, United’s U21 coach Travis Binnion defended goalie Nathan Bishop in the post-match presser. He expressed regret for Paul Mullin’s condition but pointed out that soccer is a contact sport at the end of the day. He said his player had no bad intentions.

All said and done, Nathan Bishop should be cut some slack for his actions. It clearly wasn’t intentional. All we should instead hope for is a speedy recovery for Paul Mullin and no further health complications!
